Samhita is the annual technical fest of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University. It is going to be hosted by Information Technology Association (ITA) on February 23. The Information Technology and Computer Science students of ITA believe that the event falls in line with our endeavors to encourage students to come out of their cocoon to taste an experience of what it is to be a part of current industrial trends, and contribute to its growth with their own ideas and exploits.
Over the years, the quiet but immensely talent-filled campus of Madras Institute of Technology has been churning out diligent and technically sound engineers who's contribution has been instrumental in various fields of the industry. Being one of the four constituent colleges of Anna University, it has retained its own image that portrays through its staff & students, a wonderful fusion of measured composure and creative zeal.
The fest hosts a wide range of events – from paper presentations to programming contest, debugging to technical and general quizzes, and of course gaming. Each year a considerable number of budding engineers flocks to the campus and engage their minds to fight it out. So it's that time of the year again, when bright-bulbs and innovative participants come down to Madras Institute of Technology for another Samhita that promises to be a trésor trouvé of information, edutainment and innovation.
Samhita urges you to open up your horizons and think differently to live up to its ethos that has always been to celebrate technology. It offers you a platform to prove your mettle and drive your grey cells to the extreme. So whether you are an algo geek, a quiz freak, or even a gaming crank, Samhita urges you to bring your keen minds, astute wit, and thirst for victory. You'll certainly need them.
